Lecture abstract: Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is a dual-component therapy composed of increased barometric pressure and hyperoxia that have primary epigenetic effects. HBOT affects the expression and suppression of over 40% of the protein-coding genes in human chromosomes.
