Reactivation of Chronic Disease

Yusuf (JP) Saleeby 41 min

Lecture abstract: COVID infection and COVID vaccines can activate occult (hidden) chronic illness or disease. Infection and injection can also re-activate chronic smoldering infections such as Lyme disease. In my presentation, I will cover the general mechanism of action for how this happens, looking at some of the top chronic illnesses that are being encountered and should not be ignored as we focus on long COVID and/or post-acute sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 (PASC). Ignoring such underlying diseases and issues will only delay the recovery of spike-injured cells and organs. I will present a few clinical case reports during my presentation. These cases are from my patient base, which is heavy with Chronic Lyme Disease (CLD). Many of those with difficult-to-treat long COVID are those with CLD. While others exist in clinical practice, my patient base has mostly neurological presentations due to neuroborreliosis. I will end the lecture with some more holistic and integrative interventions I have found very helpful in my practice.
