Lecture abstract: In my lecture, I will speak about my investigation 30 years ago of a major mitochondrial epidemic in Cuba, the role of mitochondria in chronic fatiguing illnesses, the evaluation of mitochondrial disorders, and available treatments — particularly vitamins and nutritional supplements.
