Dr. Jordan Vaughn, Senior Fellow, Microvascular Disease Dr. Jordan Vaughn, MD, is a highly respected Senior Fellow specializing in Microvascular Disease. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alabama and his medical degree from the University of Alabama (UAB) School of Medicine. Dr. Vaughn completed his residency in Internal Medicine at UAB Hospital, where he honed his skills and knowledge in comprehensive patient care. Following his training, Dr. Vaughn joined and expanded MedHelp Clinics, an organization founded by his father, Dr. Michael Vaughn, in 1982. MedHelp Clinics, with six locations, serves over 190,000 patients annually and employs 18 physicians and over 200 healthcare workers. Dr. Vaughn’s leadership has been instrumental in the clinic's growth and its commitment to providing holistic outpatient care, addressing both acute and chronic conditions for the body and spirit. Dr. Vaughn has been at the forefront of delivering early outpatient treatment for COVID-19 since the onset of the pandemic. He is now integrating his extensive knowledge into the treatment of long COVID (post-acute sequelae SARS-CoV-2 infection or PASC), focusing on the spike protein's role in causing endothelial damage and microcapillary clotting. Dr. Vaughn’s innovative approach and dedication to patient care have positioned MedHelp Clinics as a leader in the management of microvascular disease and long COVID.
