Lecture abstract: In this session, Dr. Kat Lindley, Dr. JP Saleeby, and Dr. Joe Varon share tips on how to choose a doctor who takes the time to understand your views and shares your health goals. They talk about Direct Primary Care (DPC) as a good way for patients and doctors to work closely and customize care. The panel also gives advice on how to find providers who focus on preventing, rather than just treating, illness. Patients will face challenges in their search, but the speakers agreed that when they find an aligned provider, health outcomes will dramatically improve.
