Lecture abstract: I will present two case studies from patients in my practice. Both have neurological COVID illness with an underlying occult case of Chronic Lyme Disease (CLD) that placed them in a state of stagnation related to a basic protocol for COVID infection. The occult CLD was discovered during their visits with us, allowing us to expand therapy to include Lyme Disease and co-infections. I will discuss the need to find the underlying chronic illnesses if long COVID or vaccine injury treatments stall or show no improvement. To bring patients back to a state of health, aggressive and protracted courses of therapy may be indicated in the prescribed therapeutic plan.
